There's a McDonald's on every corner...of the universe.

Today was our big adventure to Macdo for dinner! This family hardly eats Mcdonalds, but there is a problem with the pipes under the house where we can't use much water till it is fixed. Therefore, the ladies in the house decided to eat out while the men stayed home and ate green beans. Honestly, I would have rather had green beans for dinner, but I was a little excited to see how things are different in France. First of all, you can order a Heineken's beer at Macdo. Magali said it was common to get alcoholic drinks at fast food restaurants. You can get a sandwich which is basically a hamburger but a rectangle with more tasteful looking bread. I almost ordered that because it looked a little French, but I decided to order the burger that was being advertised as the new burger! The Royal BBQ. I felt at home for a second there. It had a BBQ sauce on it that tasted pretty much like BBQ sauce, but it was chunkier and an orange color that freaked me out. I still ate it though.

The best discovery was to find a special sauce for fries that was remarkably similar to MAYONAISE! I love mayo with fries so this sauce was perfect. The french have good taste. The fries here tasted a little different though. They weren't as crispy and oily as American fries. I prefere the American fries for sure.

And everyone is going to be super jealous about these. Yep they have potato wedges, and they are soo good with that mayonaise stuff.

The girls got ice creams so we sat outside where it was warmer. It was a very pretty night in this small town. There were a lot of people sitting outside, riding bikes, or walking around.

Agathe, Magali, et Apolline

I was telling Agathe to clean off the chocolate on her face so we could take a picture.

She really wanted her straw in her mouth for the picture.
They really are as good as they look. Very well behaved.

Et voila! Macdo en France!
