As I mentioned before, this house is still not able to use water, so we went out for lunch today! I think it was Simon's turn to choose the restaurant, and he wanted Japanese! It was a little iffy when we were walking up to it, but it was beautiful on the inside!
The food here was amazing. And luckily for me, the menu had pictures for every food.
They gave us "salade" and soup first that was pretty good.
And then I got rice with chicken and some sort of meat balls. No clue what they were made of. I packed my rice up with soy sauce and used chop sticks. It was awesome. Since I havent had good asian food in like...2 weeks, I NEEDED IT. I ate so much, I felt like taking a nap the rest of the afternoon. But too bad it was a day filled with shoe shopping! The children don't have school on wednesdays so everyone went out to buy new shoes! We went to a store like Academy and looked for tennis shoes. This store was nuts. They actually let kids try out the bikes, roller blades, and workout equipment. Kids were riding bikes and scooters all around the store. It gave me a headache. Or maybe the smell of b.o. gave me a headache. Not sure which one. Then we went to like a Famous Footwear, and I found me some rain boots! Since it rains here I think.
